Research On The Design Of Small Apartment Kitchen Cabinet Storage

In order to understand the small-sized kitchen space information,this study investigates the kitchens with a building area of 50-80 square meters,and adopts three research methods:household survey,real estate information research and literature research.What's more,this study focuses on the kitchen area and kitchen cabinet layout features,the relationship between kitchen space and other functional space in the apartment,kitchen building standards and other informations.For a deeper understanding,a survey was conducted on the storage functions and storage accessories of the products of 15 kitchen cabinet brands,and Storage accessories in the market.Another research is conducted to get more information about Kitchen utensils,eating habits,food preferences and needs for storage of six typical households' kitchen operation process in Zhengzhou and Qingdao.Based on the research results,the article proposes an optimized design method for the storage space of small-sized kitchen cabinets,explores five storage problems occurring in kitchen cabinet storage,and proposes corresponding solutions.Finally,this paper proposes a design plan for kitchen cabinet storage for a specific household,and inspectes the rationality of the storage planning and design program.The main results obtained are as follows:(1)The size of small-sized kitchens can be divided into three types: 4 square meters,4 to 6square meters,and 6 square meters or more,the proportions are 30.6%,61.2%,8.2% in Zhengzhou,27.4%,56.3%,16.3% in Qingdao,27.1%,56.6%,16.3% in Nanjing.The mainstream of kitchen area is 4 to 6 square meters.(2)There is a serious problem of the homogeneity of the design of kitchen cabinets in China,the lack of innovative capacity for storage accessories design,and the problem of“localization”.(3)The kitchen is complicated to store,and there are common problems in storage,such as the difficulty in the storage of food and kitchen utensils,the unreasonable use of space,and the low satisfaction of comfort and interest.(4)6 ways to expand the storage space of kitchen cabinets: making full use of the corner storage space with the help of accessories;Expanding your storage space with foldable,hideable or retractable accessories;Using wall-mounting accessories to expand storage space;Using storage accessories to expand the vertical storage space;Using storage accessories to match storage space reasonably;Use drawers to expand storage space.(5)In response to the difficulties in the storage of fruits and vegetables,a solution to the problem was proposed.In response to the difficulties in the storage of seasonings,a solution to the problem was proposed.In response to the difficulties in the storage of garbage disposal,a solution to the problem was proposed.In response to the difficulties in the storage of staple food,a solution to the problem was proposed.In response to the difficulties in the storage of kitchenware,a solution to the problem was proposed.(6)Based on the results of this study,a kitchen cabinet storage planning design practice is carried out,making A as the design object and a detailed description in 15 parts.To examine the rationality of the practice,quantitative analysis method was used.As a result,the program is reasonable,and it indicating that the research proposing for the small-sized kitchen to optimize cabinet storage space methods has guiding design and practical value.
