In the current mining industry,with the increasing demand for mineral resources,the number of simple and easy-to-select minerals decreases.Under such circumstances,handling complex minerals has become a major challenge for the mineral processing industry.Therefore,to obtain these refractory mineral resources,we need to finely grind the mineral materials to obtain the minerals and related elements we need.In view of this situation,some new ultra-fine grinding equipment have been continuously developed in recent years.At present,the world has produced many kinds of equipment that can meet the requirements.Among these equipments,vertical stirring ball mill has more advantages.Vertical stirring mill is an important equipment used in fine grinding and ultra-fine grinding.It is widely used in grinding and processing of metal ore,nonmetal ore and other minerals.It is also widely used in surface treatment of a series of other light industrial materials such as paints,pigments,paper making,ceramics and coatings and in the manufacture of agricultural fertilizers.Therefore,it is of great significance to manufacture a vertical agitator mill that not only meets the production needs of concentrator but also saves energy and improves efficiency in order to enhance the comprehensive strength of China's mining industry,improve the influence and competitiveness of domestic mines in the world mining market,and improve the comprehensive utilization rate of mineral resources and the strategic development of sustainable resources in the future.In this paper,the feeding of a medium ore regrinding mill and a laboratory 1.5L wet vertical stirring mill in a copper mine in Anhui province are taken as research objects,and the influence and application of grinding conditions on the grain size characteristics of vertical stirring mill products are carried out with reference to the relevant literature on the research of grinding conditions on the grain size characteristics of vertical stirring mill products at home and abroad.Combined with laboratory equipment conditions,three laboratory operable conditions,i.e.stirrer speed,grinding concentration and grinding time,were selected to study the grinding conditions that affect the grinding effect.Among them,the specific parameters of the three grinding conditions are reasonably selected with reference to the mechanical properties of the ore and the determination results of the particle size of the on-site grinding cycle products and the model of the laboratory vertical stirring mill.Twenty-seven groups of grinding tests were designed to study the effect of these three grinding conditions on the content of intermediate grain(-0.038+0.010mm)of grinding products.Through statistical processing of laboratory test results,the influence law of these three grinding conditions on the content of intermediate grain(-0.038+0.010mm)of grinding products was obtained,and the corresponding multiple linear regression equation was established.Laboratory tests show that the rotating speed of the stirrer,grinding concentration and grinding time are the main factors that affect the content of intermediate grain(-0.038+0.010mm)of grinding products.According to the simulation results of multiple linear regression equation,the grinding conditions of 2134r/min stirrer speed,43.51% grinding concentration and 1min45 s grinding time are the best scheme to improve the intermediate grain content of grinding products.The grinding test is carried out according to the grinding conditions of the best scheme,and the test results are better than the results of 27 groups of laboratory tests.The reliability of the multiple linear regression equation established by the laboratory through Eviews software is verified,which provides a certain theoretical reference basis for optimizing the working parameters of the vertical stirring mill.Combined with some industrial test cases,it can be seen that vertical stirring mill has great advantages in improving the particle size characteristics of grinding products and improving subsequent separation indexes,and has certain application value and development prospect.
