Wind energy is a very important clean energy.The development and utilization of wind energy resources are of great strategic significance for alleviating energy crisis and promoting the sustainable development of human society and ecological environment.In recent years,wind power has become a hot spot for the development of green energy at home and abroad.In the past ten years,China has continuously increased investment in the wind power industry and built many large-scale wind farms.Yunnan belongs to the plateau alpine region.Wind power started late,but it has developed rapidly.This paper takes the macro site of mountainous region's wind farm in Yunnan as the research subject,applies RS technology and GIS technology to solve the practical problem of the macro site selection of high-altitude wind farms in alpine area;based on satellite remote sensing images,it adopts a combination of theoretical analysis and specific experiments.Taking the border area of Dali City,Binchuan County,Heqing County and Jingyuan County as the research area in Dali Prefecture,systematically studied the method of realizing the macro site selection of mountainous wind farms in high altitude areas of Yunnan Province,overcoming the traditional site selection of wind farms.Due to the long cycle and error-prone shortcomings,rapid and intelligent macro site selection of mountainous wind farms based on RS and GIS is realized.The main research contents and research results of this paper are:(1)Summarize the development of the wind power industry in Yunnan,and provide a relatively accurate daily average wind speed distribution map for Yunnan based on the CMADS data set providing site wind speed data from 2008 to 2016.(2)Research on the application of remote sensing surveillance classification method to obtain the ground information from remote sensing images: Firstly,the ENVI software was used to preprocess the satellite remote sensing image in the study area,and then the object-oriented method based on eCognition software was applied to remote sensing in the study area.Image segmentation and classification and accuracy evaluation were performed to obtain land use impact factors.(3)A comprehensive suitability evaluation method for macro-site selection of mountainous wind farms that combines three factors such as wind factor,topography factor(slope,terrain relief)and land use type is proposed: Firstly Arcgis software is used in the study area.The DEMwas processed to obtain topographic factors that combined terrain topography and terrain relief;then quantified wind factors,topographic factors,and land use factors;and finally,a wind farm macro was established by weighted synthesis and grading of the quantified impact factors.The comprehensive evaluation index of site selection effectively solved the problem of macro site selection for mountainous wind farms.Thus,the most preferred site results for the study area were obtained.
