With the development of wind farm construction, the dispersed wind farm is gradually developed, for the reason that terrain condition of the wind farm can be developed is becoming more and more complicated, and that the traditional large wind farm exists a growing problem of absorption. As the early period of a wind farm construction, the wind farm macro-siting plays a more and more important role to the efficiency and the success of the wind farm, which draws more and more attention. Firstly, this thesis introduces the definition, advantages and development status of the dispersed wind power generation. Then, this thesis introduces the present research situation of dispersed wind farm macro-siting.Consider the difference of the dispersed wind farm and the traditional large wind farm, this thesis presents selection principles of evaluation index of the dispersed wind farm macro-siting, and systematically introduces the commonly used evaluation indexes of dispersed wind farm macro-siting, which provides the reference for the dispersed wind farm macro-siting. In the evaluation index introduced, this thesis innovative introduced the indexes that affect the social environment:shine and smooth shadow effect, noise influence. At the same time, their calculation methods are proposed.In the dispersed wind farms macro-siting, wind energy resources is the most important. Therefore, the method of wind energy resource assessment is studied in this thesis. Based on dispersed wind farm siting, this thesis proposes a new method of wind energy resource assessment and presents the system structure of the wind energy resource assessment. The method, taking the roughness model and terrain model, etc. into account, takes wind data of the weather stations or wind tower as the input data, and takes the wind data at the specified location as the wind farm output data. This method is certified by an engineering project, the calculation results of which show that the proposed method is reasonable and effective.Then, based on the fact that the structure of dispersed wind farm is complex and the dispersed wind farm has many influence factors, the part of which are not easy to quantify, this thesis applies the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) to dispersed wind farm macro-siting. According to selection principles of evaluation indexes, the evaluation indexes such as the scintillation and lighting effects, noise effect etc. are selected. FAHP theory is proposed for the shortage of AHP theory. What’s more, the analysis method of actual data is proposed. Then, On the basis of their results, the wind farm candidates can be sorted. This method is certified by an engineering project, the calculation results of which show that the proposed method is reasonable and effective.Considering the inadaptability of foreign software in our dispersed wind farms, this thesis develops the dispersed wind farm siting software based on VB.NET programming language. The software contains several functional blocks:wind energy resource assessment block, wind farm macro-siting block, etc.. Finally, this thesis illustrates the specific function and operations of the wind energy resource assessment block and the wind farms macro-siting block through an example of wind farm macro-siting, which shows us the advantages of this software.
