Research On The Design Method Of Wooden Residential Decoration Components Based On Symbol Evolution

In order to better integrate the cultural elements of Miao Nationality into the design process of modern wooden residential houses and wooden residential decoration components,a symbol evolution method based on shape grammar and extenics basic element representation is proposed.Extenics primitives are used as characterization models,and the symbols of traditional Miaoju wooden houses are deconstructed by extension primitives.Based on the classical shape grammar,combined with the extension primitives characterization and the component pattern creative configuration process model,the morphological evolution and cultural inheritance of the Miao-Kai ethnic pattern are realized.In order to enable the interior design of the new countryside to fully demonstrate their ethnic character is ticsand in divid ualized development,we carefully analyzed the structural characteristics,decorative styles,and other artistic features,expression techniques,and styling characteristics of the Miao ethnic minority traditional cultural heritage.Taking the wooden dwellings as an example,the proposed design method was validated and applied to the custom design of the wooden dwellings in the southeast of Fujian Province,creating houses with local cultural characteristics,popular preference and local culture.It provides the basis for the cultural inheritance of the wooden houses of Miao people and the construction of new countryside.
