The intelligent public transport system can improve people's choice of public transportation,reduce the use of private cars,reduce environmental pollution,save energy consumption.Moreover,smart buses carry a large amount of traffic,and the per capita occupied road area is small,which reduces the problem of urban congestion and facilitates people's travel.In this paper,we designs and develops a smart bus electronic stop sign based on high-performance processor Cortex-A8 and builds embedded Linux operating system.Around the intelligent bus electronic station software development process,we completed the development of the development environment,the transplantation of BootLoader,the transplantation of the Linux kernel,and the construction of the root file system.The system realizes real-time video monitoring around the intelligent bus electronic stop sign,mobile video surveillance(supporting Android and IOS systems),local and remote video playback.Firstly,we designed the video data acquisition system which using the Mjpg-streamer software design and FFmpeg software transplantation technology.The intelligent bus electronic station card collects the video image and compresses it to the background dispatching center through the network in real time.The dispatcher monitors the number of waiting vehicles around the station card through video surveillance,so as to carry out accurate and reasonable bus dispatching.The system also realizes the GUI interface of the intelligent bus electronic stop sign.The interface is developed and designed based on Qt which using the hybrid UI design method to design and implement the electronic station interface.For the implementation of the electronic station software interface design and function modules,Qt related technologies such as layout management,signals and slots,and QThread threads are used.The final display effect is that passengers can clearly and intuitively see the number of buses and current location of the line being operated,the time required to get the next bus to the station,the first and last bus time,fare and other information from the electronic station GUI interface,so that passengers can arrange their travels reasonably.In order to improve the integrity of the system and reflect the superiority of the system,we designed the background supervision platform in this system.The background supervision platform uses WordPress technology to create a portal,which improves the friendliness of human-computer interaction and the intuitive experience of users.Through the system test,the video monitoring function,GUI interface function and the back-end scheduling center monitoring interface website of the intelligent public transport electronic station designed in the system can run stably and have good practical value.
