With the development of society and the adjustment of economic structure,the traditional industries have turned decline.A large number of factories have closed down,leaving large vacant factories and production lines.These factories have witnessed the development of the city and the production level at that time.The memory of these industrial heritage is also very necessary.Shenxin Yarn Factory moved from Wuhan to Baoji during the War of Resistance against Japan.It witnessed the tortuous development of China's national capitalism during the Anti-Japanese War.It witnessed the industrialization of Baoji and was an extremely important industrial heritage of Baoji City.Research on protection and utilization is still blank,and protection and utilization work seems to be urgent.This paper starts with the historical literature,sorts out the history and development process of Shenxin Yarn Factory,and summarizes its historical influence in the development of national capitalism and in the industrial development of Baoji City.Conduct on-site investigation of the heritage,analyze the composition and preservation status of the heritage,and summarize the characteristics of the former site of Shenxin Yarn Factory.Then,by combining the evaluation methods of foreign heritage value,the evaluation method of industrial heritage value is summarized,and the heritage value of the former site of Shenxin Yarn Factory is summarized in combination with the characteristics of the old site of Shenxin Yarn Factory.By analyzing the cases of industrial heritage protection and reuse at home and abroad,the protection planning plan and reuse suggestions for the Shenxin Yarn Factory were proposed.
