Research On The Design And Application Of Sichuan Yi People's Landscape Lights

With the gradual development of the social economy,the level of popular culture has gradually improved.On the one hand,the traditional urban construction has gradually exposed its drawbacks.On the other hand,the rise of urban tourism requires that the construction of the city conforms to the cultural accumulation of the city itself so that it can leave a unique impression of the city.This is especially true for cities with ethnic cultural characteristics.Minority culture should not only be fully displayed as a tourism resource in urban construction,but also a component of Chinese culture.The cultural characteristics of ethnic minorities should also be shown and passed down.As an important component of urban visual image in urban CIS system,landscape lighting has different lighting functions when comparing with traditional urban lighting.It should be used as a carrier and medium,with various functions such as lighting,cultural display and aesthetics.Based on the CIS system and the landscape lighting as the starting point,the thesis carried out a detailed research on the landscape lighting application of Xichang,the state government of Liangshan Prefecture,in order to provide ideas and practical cases for the promotion of Xichang city image and the inheritance of Yi culture.This study takes Xichang City’s Yi landscape lighting as the research object.Through field research visits and questionnaires,the objective situation of Xichang City landscape lighting construction and subjective willingness of user satisfaction and design expectations are summarized.The results are as follows:(1)The landscape lights of Xichang City have a certain display design of the Yi culture,but they do not have systematic planning features.The existing Yi landscape lights are often scattered and combined with the elements of the Yi people.It has not been incorporated into the urban CIS system for unified construction and construction.The display design of urban landscape lamps does not have obvious unity.The theme of the Yi culture display is messy and lacks logic,thus further planning and construction is urgently needed.(2)Existing landscape lamps with Yi characteristics in Xichang include main landscape lights(landscape lights),advertising light boxes,street lights(footpath and garden street lights and roadway lights),spotlights,and other types of landscapes.Lighting fixtures such as lawn lamps have not found a Yi culture display design.The embodiment of the Yi culture mainly includes four aspects: color design,modeling design,totem application and material application.At the same time,the design of the Yi landscape lighting also has limitations in subject selection,the lack of interestingness and interactive experience.(3)According to the questionnaire survey,the cultural display design of the Yi people’s landscape lamps in Xichang City can be perceived by tourists and local citizens,but there is still room for further design and construction.In the designing method of Yi landscape lamps,colors and shapes are the two elements that are most easily perceived.The use of totem can be perceived but the users can hardly understand its connotation.Using materials to reflect the Yi culture is not easy to be perceived by users;in terms of the importance of the construction of the lamp type,the main landscape light> advertising light box>walkway and garden street light>roadway light>turf light,which is basically consistent with the analysis of the landscape light type of the existing Yi landscape light culture display;In terms of construction area intention,city square>urban park>street green space>urban road>residential area;and the function of landscape lighting,lighting>cultural heritage>aesthetic requirements>science education,in which the energy conservation and environmental protection functions of lamps are valued,Respondents of different educational levels have different cognitions,which leads to greater differences in importance rankings.However,the energy-saving and environmental protection functions themselves are not the main way of expressing the Yi culture in landscape lights,so this article will not further explore.(4)Based on the objective facts and subjective analysis,the countermeasures for the design and construction of the Xichang City landscape lighting into the urban CIS system are proposed.The design of the landscape light should be clear on the theme of the landscape lighting design area.Appropriate design techniques,taking into account the interaction and interestingness of the landscape lights,thus achieving a win-win situation for the landscape image construction in the city and the spread of a few ethnic cultures.Finally,it provides a reference for the design and application of the Yi people’s landscape lighting in Xichang City.
