Research On Coal Purchasing Strategy Of Thermal Power Enterprise Of G Company

China’s power supply is mainly based on thermal power generation,and new energy generation is supplemented.The main fuel for thermal power generation is coal,meanwhile the supply of coal affects the normal production of thermal power plants.Since 2016,due to the Ccutting overcapacity policy,coal production capacity has declined and coal supply is insufficient.Even in Guizhou province,where coal resources are abundant,the coal is in short supply.Insufficient supply has caused coal prices to rise,which has far exceeded the range of thermal power companies.The conflict of coal and electric power has seriously affected the normal operation of thermal power plants.The loan of Asset Ratio of the thermal power plants is higher than safe ratio.Reducing the cost of coal and ensuring the supply of coal has become a major concern for most thermal power companies.Under this circumstance,procurement management has also risen to a strategic height,building a procurement strategy to get rid of difficulties and achieve profitability for enterprises.Under the current situation of tight coal supply and soaring coal prices,this paper reviews the current situation of coal procurement in G company,analyse the macro environment and market competition of coal-fired enterprises in G company with PEST method and Porter’s five-force analysis method.With SWOT analysis,analyzing G’s internal strengths,weaknesses,external opportunities and threats and building a matrix,I analyze strategic models and select appropriate centralized procurement strategies and cross-regional procurement strategies to ensure achievement of corporate development strategies.
