Yunnan has a large proportion of mountainous areas and limited land resources.The onl y flat land is generall y used to build cities and towns,and the countryside is built in vast mountain areas.The economy in Yunnan is underdeveloped,and the rural areas in the mountains are even poor.The houses built are relativel y sim ple,mostly built with civil and brick wood.Moreover,earthquakes in Yunnan Province are frequent,and the structural safet y of rural houses must be taken seriousl y.The Yunnan provincial government is concerned about the safet y of life and propert y of th e rural people,investigating and statistics on the situation of rural houses,and transforming or rebuilding dangerous houses.The Chuxiong Zixi Village,designed by Kunming Universit y of Science and Technology,is a provincial-level demonstration village in Yunnan.The public buildings such as village activit y rooms,village committees,and village clinics are constructed of steel structures with good response.The construction of steel structures has not yet been introduced into the construction of villa gers' houses.The local government hopes to strengthen the application research of steel structures in rural houses by cooperating with schools,to achieve the purpose of economicall y and rationall y reducing the cost,and to provide theoretical basis for t he promotion of steel structures to general houses.Taking into account the purpose of reducing the cost,protecting the environment and retaining the national characteristics,this paper adopts the traditional structure of the hanging foot building in the mountainous area of Yunnan.The upper building layout adopts the economic t ype that is most popular among the rural people in the construction of new countryside in Yunnan Province.Firstl y,the simplified calculation of the hanging foot layer is divide d into a single-span sling structure and a multi-span sling structure.It is found that both the center and the center of mass deviation are too large and the sling foot is too strong.The main reason for the problem is that the difference in the lateral s tiffness of the short column of the hanging foot and the long column of the hanging foot is too large,so that the center of the hanging foot layer is biased toward the side of the short leg of the hanging foot.The force of the frame column is distributed according to the side stiffness,so the force of the short column of the hanging foot is naturall y too large.This paper mainly proposes two kinds of structural treatment methods to solve the problem.The first one is to reduce the lateral stiffness of th e short legs of the lifting feet by the connection of the short legs and the column legs.The second type is the length of the hanging feet.The column increases the inter-column support to increase the lateral stiffness of the long column of the hanging f oot.After calculation,it is found that the two structural treatment methods can effectivel y solve the problem,but this paper also suggests to use the method of connecting the short legs of the hanging legs to the hinge.Because this method is convenient to construct and low in cost,it is more conducive to promotion in the rural areas of Yunnan.After simplifying the calculation,the finite element calculation is performed to verify the conclusion of the simplified calculation.Through the calculation of the finite element model,the cycle ratio of the hanging foot structure,the displacement ratio between the layers and the strength ratio of the members can be obtained,and the results are consistent with the simplified calculation results.In addition t o the elastic calculation of the model in the finite element model anal ysis,the elastoplastic calculation of the model is carried out.The results show that the deformation of the hanging foot structure under the action of large earthquakes meets the requirements of the specification.
