With the further deepening of China’s rapid economic development and the rural education system reform, rural education as the foundation to improve the education quality of the whole people got the attention of the whole society. Yunnan Province, because of its special geographical environment, the existing mountain rural boarding primary school campus environment problem and more and more limitations, this puts forward new requirements and challenges to rural boarding mountain elementary school building design of the province. Boarding primary school campus to provide a good primary school architectural space environment for the growth of students, meet the needs of students’behavior, and potential for guiding force on their every word and action. Based on the research of Yunnan Province Rural Boarding mountain elementary school building on the current situation, combined with the school building design case of excellence at home and abroad, put forward the construction of appropriate design methods of Yunnan Province Rural Boarding mountain elementary school buildings.Through the study of built in rural areas of Yunnan Province mountain boarding school indoor space a large number of field research and survey, in view of the current situation and existing problems, and combining the current situation and development trend of rural education, outstanding cases refer to the small rural school, principles and methods of Yunnan Province Rural Boarding a small mountain the school building design appear.The main contents of the study include:In mountainous area of Yunnan province rural boarding school construction image, indoor and outdoor space situation, supporting facilities. Mainly through a large number of field surveys, unreasonable finds its characteristics and status of phenomena, as the basis and the breakthrough point of this thesis, in order to find in the present environmental conditions, the architectural design of the small school.In mountainous area of Yunnan province rural boarding school construction principle of design research, is in the design idea of people-oriented, from the view of architecture design, and explores the special terrain conditions of rural boarding school building design principle, to guide the reality of architectural practice.On the basis of the above, the fifth chapter summarizes the methods of Yunnan Province Rural Boarding mountain elementary school building design, and put forward the views and suggestions of rough on the rural boarding school construction design trends of the province.
