With the deepending of China’s reform and opening-up process and the soliding progress of supply-side reform,the market competition in the domestic road and bridge construction industry is increasingly fierce,and many firms are sluggish in development,showing a weak side in business strategic planning and operation.As the deepening of “the Belt and Road” policy,China increases the exchanges and cooperation with the surrounding countries.The road and bridge construction foundation of these countries is rather weak,so the international road and bridge construction market presents a huge development potential.From the perspective of the firm’s own development,JiuDiYuan has increased the proportion of overseas investment in recent years,actively expanding the international market.As a result,it has successfully carried out road and bridge construction in Kyrgyzstan,gradually accumulating experience and lessons on the internationalization strategy.Taken JiuDiYuan as the subject of research,we use PEST analyzing method and Michael Porter’s five forces model to recognize the outside circumstance of firm.Then we analyse firm’s resources and abilities.Finally,by SWOT matrix,we conclude that JiuDiYuan should take the internationalization strategy and the cost leadership strategy to build core competence.This paper uses strategic management theory and related internationalization theory,using case study method and literature research to explore the road and bridge construction firms how to effectively identify risks and opportunities under the complex changes of market environment.By comprehensive analysing firm’s own resources and abilities,this paper want to make a suitbable internationalization development strategy and the concrete implementation measures.By doing so,the company can build a more competitive development capacity and we hope to provide some useful reference to other firms’ strategy decision-making and transforming,in order to boost their internationalization development.
