Damage caused by curtain wall shedding is a common engineering accident.The defects of technology and materials are the main causes of the accident.Considering the difference of temperature change and material expansion coefficient,the curtain wall skeleton joint of high-rise building is usually required to have good deformation ability.The connecting part includes the core of the column,the connection between the column and the crossbeam,and so on.Because of the high safety requirements of the connecting part and the obvious contact nonlinear mechanical properties of the connecting part,the study of the mechanical properties of the key joint part of the curtain wall is more and more important,and it is urgent to study the mechanical properties of the key joint part of the curtain wall.The influence of column core insertion connection on the mechanical performance of curtain wall column is studied in order to provide theoretical and experimental basis for the safety design of curtain wall column core insertion connection.First of all,the development of curtain wall at home and abroad and the development history of curtain wall are introduced.Then,the related overview of contact problems is introduced.The content includes the type of contact problem and a variety of contact problems.This paper introduces the contact types in the study,and explains the function of the contact problem through the finite element software ANSYS,including the advanced setting contents such as convergence in the analysis of the contact problem,the conditions for the existence of friction between contacts,and the existence of friction between contacts.In the establishment of contact objects,the contact algorithm can be used,some important basic parameter settings and so on.Secondly,for economic and security reasons,the design calculation of elastic stage is carried out.On the basis of elastic design,a reasonable core length is obtained.Finally,the numerical analysis of the contact point of the column core connection of the curtain wall and the finite element analysis of the whole system of the component glass curtain wall are carried out.The numerical analysis model is established by using the finite element software ANSYS,and six models are considered.The difference between these models is that the length of the core isdifferent.The analysis of these models is mainly the displacement and stress of the column,as well as the comparative analysis of the displacement and stress of the core.That is to say,the connection ability of different core length in the connection joint of the column will have any influence on the displacement and stress of the column of the curtain wall.According to the analysis,the reasonable design of the core length is carried out,and the analysis is based on the relevant design requirements.The comparative analysis and study of the two connection methods of core insertion and no core insertion are also carried out,so as to better analyze whether the existence of core insertion will have any influence on the connection model of curtain wall column.The results of numerical analysis are summarized.At the same time,the experimental research is carried out,and the experimental results are compared with the theoretical analysis,and the two are in good agreement with each other.Some useful conclusions are obtained in this paper,which provide a reference for the study of this kind of contact analysis,and some suggestions for the future research direction of this subject are put forward.
