With the wide application of the artificial intelligence in the field of electric power and the maturing gradually of the energy storage technology of graphene,the global energy structure will be greatly changed,and the power generation,power transmission,power transformation and distribution,power selling and power consuming market in the electric power industry will also undergo fundamental changes.As a kind of clean energy with high conversion efficiency,being renewable and zero emission,electric energy will become one of the most important energy sources in the future,whose advantages are unmatched by oil,natural gas and other energy sources,therefore,the electricity-related industry will become one of the most potential industries in the energy field in the coming decades.In the "13th Five-Year Plan for Electric Power Development ",the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration clearly stated specific requirements such as vigorously developing new energy,promoting smart grid construction,actively developing distributed generation,accelerating the construction of charging facilities,implementing energy substitution and optimizing energy consumption structure,and the transformation and upgrading of the electric power industry will undergo major changes during the 13 th Five-Year Plan.Ordos Electric Power Bureau of the Inner Mongolia Electric Power Group predicted that the average annual growth rate of power load in Ordos will be 6.35% in the next five years,with a total investment of 11.328 billion yuan in the transformation and construction of the power grid.The plan points out that we should improve the quality and the intelligent level of the power grid,greatly promote the level of automation,the construction of the power grid in Ordos will continue to grow at a high speed during the 13 th Five-Year Plan.With the Ordos Hengyu Electric Power Engineering Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Hengyu Electric Power)as the study object,on the basis of a full review of the development history of the Hengyu Electric Power,this paper analyses the company’s ability and the industry trend,and studies the company’s development strategy by referring to related data.The structure of this paper is as follows: it firstly introduces the background,purpose and significance of the study on the company’s development strategy,finds out the issues in organization through sorting out the development history of the company,makes a PEST and five-force analysis of the external environment of the industry,makes a strategic capability analysis of the internal environment of the company,and makes a choice of the development strategy for the company by using the SWOT analysis model,so as to focus on the strategic implementation target and refine the strategic implementation measures.This study can help enterprises to clarify the opportunities and risks in internal and external environment and formulate correct development strategies,thus occupying a favorable competitive position in the market and achieving sustainable development through the implementation of development strategies.The results in this paper can provide clear development strategies for the Hengyu Electric Power,points out the direction of its business development,as well as provides a reference to business practice for transformation of other electric power engineering companies in the industry.
