Research On Straw Utilization Of Grain Farmers In Xihua County

In recent years,with the introduction of relevant policies and the improvement of regulatory measures,the phenomenon of straw burning has changed a lot.How to use straw for resource utilization is a problem that needs to be solved to achieve sustainable agricultural development.Comprehensive utilization of crop straws can not only increase farmers' income,but also contribute to the green development of agriculture.It is of great significance to convert the potential productivity of straw utilization technology into actual productivity.This requires the establishment of a government-led enterprise's straw resource utilization system that assists farmers to participate,continuously popularizing the knowledge and technology of diversified straw utilization,changing the traditional farmer's production behavior,and realizing the recycling and efficient use of crop straw.Actively respond to the national call to accelerate the cultivation and formation of agricultural green production methods and rural green lifestyles.Based on a review of relevant domestic and foreign literature,this paper uses the "economic man" hypothesis,the theory of peasant household behavior,the theory of externalities and the theory of sustainable development as the basis.According the survey data of 360 farmers coming from six townships of Xihua County,Henan Province,this paper uses descriptive statistical methods to analyze individual and family characteristics,cognition of straw utilization,current status and existing problems of farmers in Xihua County.At the same time,a binary logit regression model was used to analyze key factors affecting farmers' straw utilization behavior.Research on the straw utilization behavior of farmers will help to find out the practical factors that hinder the promotion and implementation of straw utilization technology,which will help adjust agricultural policies,increase farmers' income,and speed up the improvement of straw utilization technology and agricultural modernization.This article draws the following conclusions.First,under the background of banning the burning of straw,farmers in Xihua County have a single utilization method of straw resources,and the lack of technology and funds is the main reason.Among the surveyed farmers,99% of the total samples were directly returned to the field by wheat straw.At the same time,49.4% of the farmers stated that straw utilization technology was difficult to obtain,and 88.8% of the farmers stated that they did not receive the subsidies for straw utilization during the production process.At the same time,the investment cost of straw utilization is relatively large,so returning the straw to the field is the best choice when the technology and capital are limited.Second,farmers have a low level of understanding of straw resource utilization,but they are optimistic about the prospect of straw resource utilization,which is affected by factors such as farmers' characteristics and cognition.Regarding the degree of understanding of straw resource utilization,48% of the farmers did not know about the utilization of straw resources;in terms of the prospect of the utilization of straw resources,60% of the farmers thought that the straw utilization prospects were good.After researching the factors that affect farmers' willingness to use straw,this paper found that the professional background of farmers is farming,the more the family labor force,the more satisfied they are with the current straw treatment methods,the higher their approval of the ban on burning policies,and the better their understanding of straw resources,then the higher its willingness to use straw resources.Referring to the advanced experience of straw utilization at home and abroad,the ideas and ways to improve the comprehensive utilization of straw resources in Xihua County are put forward.First,the government should speed up the innovation and promotion of straw resource utilization technology to improve the comprehensive utilization of straw by farmers;second,the government should improve the financial subsidy system to alleviate the economic pressure caused by straw utilization by farmers;finally,the government should give full play to its leading role,and improve the complete supply and demand chain between farmers and enterprises.The innovation of the thesis lies in the innovation of research perspectives and research methods.This paper studies from the micro perspective of grain farmers,combines the descriptive analysis method and model regression analysis method,and analyzes the straw utilization behavior of grain farmers in Xihua County in order to provide a reference for the green development of agriculture.The shortcoming of the paper is that due to the influence of practical factors,the area allowed for field investigation is limited,and the survey data obtained may not be comprehensive enough.
