Purpose:To observe the clinical effect of “Wenban Tang” combined with Western medicine routine treatment and enhanced external counterpulsation treatment on PCI postoperative patientswith coronary heart disease(CHD)andthe influence on serumSuperoxide Dismutase(SOD),Malondialdehyde(MDA)vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),and elucidate zhe mechanisms involved.Material and method: 60 PCI postoperative patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(n = 30).The control group was treated with the conventional western medicine and “Wenban Tang”,while the treatment group is combined with the external counterpulsation therapy on the basis of the control group(Every day for an hour). Both groups were treated for four weeks.Evaluate the results of those subjects which are the score of angina symptoms, the curative effect of angina symptoms, the score of TCM syndromes, the curative effect of TCM syndromesaccording to the CRF of two groups before and after the treatment, measure andcontrast the content of serum SOD?MDA and VEGF by using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay before and after treatment. Results: 1.After the treatment, comparing the TCM syndrome and integral aspects of angina symptoms with before the treatment: the experimental groupsignificantly decreased(P < 0.01),and lower than the control group(P < 0.05).And after the treatment, the score of experimental group of TCM syndrome and angina symptoms were significantly lower than that in control group(P < 0.01).In terms of average rank value, the experimental group was greater thancontrol group.there is significantly different about TCM syndrome and curative effect of angina symptoms in the group(P < 0.01).so as the improvement of TCM syndrome and angina symptoms, the experimental group did better than the than control group.2.After the treatment,in the two groups, the lever of SOD,VEGF in the serum was higher than before the treatment(P < 0.01).And the lever of SOD,VEGF in the experimental groupwas higher than it in the control group(P < 0.01).3.After the treatment,in the two groups, the lever of MDAin the serum was significantly decreased. After the treatment, the lever of MDAin the experimental group was lower than it in the control group(P < 0.01)Conclusion:1.The clinical symptoms and manifestations of TCM syndromes were significantly improved in patients with coronary heart disease after PCI after the combined enhancement of the conventional treatment combined with the conventional treatment of staining.2.The wenbantangand conventional western medicine treatment with enhanced external counterpulsation therapy can further increase the serum SOD level, inhibit expression of serum MDA,increase the serum VEGF levels and the effect is better than that control group?3.The wenbantangand conventional western medicine with enhanced external counterpulsation therapy has definite clinical curative effect, good safety, patients have higher compliance,to external counterpulsation provides a reference with the combination of Chinese and western medicine treatment of the formulas.
