Purpose:Based on the ancient and modern literature and Professor Jinglin Li's clinical experience,we analyzed the relationship between two organs of spleen and kidney with diabetic kidney disease(DKD),for discussing the clinical feasibility and specific methods of treating diabetic kidney disease by strengthening spleen and tonifying kidney.Material and method:Through the inspection of DKD from spleen and kidney deficiency on the treatment of the related literature,combining with Professor Jinglin Li's clinical experience,discussing the pathogenesis of DKD in traditional Chinese medical science and the clinical research and the animal experimental results of the disease by strengthening the spleen and the kidney in detail,therefore,The specific methods for the treatment of DKD with the method of strengthening the spleen and the kidney are summarized.Results: 1.In the early stage of diabetic kidney disease,strengthening spleen and kidney,ascending Yang,and Qi,securing and containing vital essence are the main factors;In the middle stage,strengthening spleen and regulating the middle,invigorating the kidney and promoting essence,invigorating the circulation of blood,clearing damp and promoting diuresis are the main factors;In the later period,Xuan Qing Dao Zhuo,strengthening spleen and kidney,support healthy energy are the main factors.2.It has good effect on the treatment of DKD with the method of strengthening spleen and kidney.Conclusion: 1.Deficiency of spleen and kidney goes through the whole development process of diabetic kidney disease,according to the treatment of syndrome differentiation in different periods.2.Invigorating the spleen and benefiting the kidney is an important treatment for DKD.
