Research On Professor Dong Bo's Medication Rules For The Treatment Of Heart Palpitations

Purpose:This paper summarizes Professor Dong Bo’s rule of medication for palpitation through retrospective study and data mining technology.Material and method:From October 2016 to December 2018,palpitations in the Department of Cardiology,the Second Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the outpatient department of the Chinese Medical College were diagnosed and treated by Professor Dong Bo and met the research criteria.The general information involved in the case and the medication of the first prescription were analyzed by using WPS office Excel 2016,SPSS Statistics 25 and SPSS Clementine 12.0 software,Frequency Analysis,Association Analysis and Cluster Analysis,and the medication rule of Professor Dong Bo in the treatment of palpitation was summarized.Results: 1.A total of 103 cases were included in this study,of which 24 were males,accounting for 23.30% of the total;79 were females,accounting for 76.70% of the total.Female patients were significantly more than males.The patients ranged from 18 to 83 years old,the youngest age was 18 years old,the oldest age was 83 years old,the average age was(50.54 + 16.17)years old,35 people aged 18 to 40 years old,accounting for 33.98% of the total number;50 people aged 41 to 65 years old,accounting for 48.54% of the total number;18 people aged over 66,accounting for 17.48% of the total number.The majority of palpitation patients were middle-aged and elderly.2.Professor Dong Bo’s 103 first-visit prescriptions for palpitation included 81 kinds of traditional Chinese medicines,including 79 kinds of traditional Chinese medicines.The first 10 kinds of traditional Chinese medicines were: roasted licorice,cinnamon twig,Poria cocos,orange peel,angelica,tulip,bupleurum,oyster,paeony and Atractylodes macrocephala.The first six drugs used were tonifying deficiency,regulating qi,tranquilizing mind,clearing away heat,relieving exterior and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.Among the medicines with more than 30% use frequency,the main medicines for tonifying deficiency are roasted licorice,angelica,Paeonia lactiflora,Atractylodes macrocephala and Radix pseudostellariae;the main medicines for regulating Qi are orange peel,Fructus aurantii and sandalwood;the main medicines for activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis are tulip and Radix salviae;the main medicines for relieving exterior symptoms are cinnamon twig and bupleurum;the main dragon bones for calming the liver and latent yang;the main medicines Pinellia ternata is mainly used in phlegm medicine.3.Through correlation analysis,Professor Dong Bo often used Longgu-oyster,Guizhi-roasted licorice,and Guizhi-licorice Longgu-oyster soup.4.Through cluster analysis,Professor Dong Bo’s commonly used pairs of medicines were Sophora flavescens-Gansong,Polygala tenuifolia-Acorus tatarinowii,Guizhi-roasted licorice,keel-oyster.The commonly used drug combinations are Salvia miltiorrhiza,sandalwood,Amomum villosum;Tulip,Atractylodes macrocephala,Angelica sinensis,tangerine peel,Poria cocos,Paeonia lactiflora,Pinellia ternata,Bupleurum chinense,Aurantium aurantium;Cinnamomum twig,roasted licorice,keel,oyster.Conclusion: 1.Professor Dong Bo is good at treating palpitation,and is good at treating palpitation from the liver.The commonly used medicines are Bupleurum chinense and Tulip.He prefers Guizhi Liquor Dragon Bone Oyster Decoction to Guizhi Liquor and Guizhi.2.Professor Dong Bo is good at adding some products of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis in the treatment of palpitation.He likes Danshen decoction,Angelica sinensis,Salvia miltiorrhiza,etc.In the treatment of palpitation,Professor Dong Bo often takes care of protecting the spleen and stomach.He often uses Poria cocos,Atractylodes macrocephala,Citrus aurantium and other products of invigorating the spleen and regulating qi.He likes adding ginger and jujube in the prescription.3.Professor Dong Bo treats palpitations with Guizhi-roasted licorice,keel-oyster,Kushen-Gansong and Yuanzhi-Acorus calamus.
