Observation Of Clinical Curative Effect Of Xunxi Granules On Tibial Plateau Schatzker Type ??? Fractures After Operation

Purpose:To investigate the clinical outcome of Xunxi granules on postoperative rehabilitation of tibial plateau fracture of Schatzker type ???.Material and method:In this study,60 patients with unilateral tibial plateau fracture of Schatzker type ??? were admitted to the First Department of Orthopedics,The Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,from September 2016 to December 2018.The patients were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group.All patients underwent open reduction and internal fixation with titanium plate and screw.The control group were fumigated and washed with hot water on the basis of routine treatment(knee joint rehabilitation training,anti-swelling and analgesic drugs),while the traditional Chinese medicine group were fumigated and washed with Xunxi granules on the basis of routine treatment after operation.The extent of swelling and knee joint mobility(ROM)of the affected limb were evaluated and recorded,and the knee joint function were evaluated based on the VAS pain scale and WOMAC osteoarthritis score scale,on the start and the end of the fumigation treatment,and the postoperative 3 months.Results:A total of 60 patients with the tibial plateau fracture of Schatzker type I to III were followed up for 3 months,and the fracture reached the standard of clinical healing.On the day of the start of the fumigating and washing treatment,the difference in knee circumference of the traditional Chinese medicine group was(3.37±0.59)cm,ROM(42.30°±2.00°),VAS score(3.18±0.28),and the knee joint diameter difference of the control group(3.23±1.04)cm.ROM(42.87°±2.30°),VAS score(3.09±0.24);the difference of knee circumference diameter(1.59±0.51)cm,ROM(101.73°±3.31°),VAS score(0.72±0.12)in the traditional Chinese medicine group on the day of fumigation treatment 0.12),WOMAC functional score(53.5±4.70),control group knee joint diameter difference(2.37±1.04)cm,ROM(89.17°±3.12°),VAS score(1.31±0.20),WOMAC function score(65.00±4.76)The difference of knee circumference diameter in the traditional Chinese medicine group was 0.63±0.29 cm,ROM(121.53°±5.14°),VAS score(0.16±0.12),WOMAC function score(37.77±5.12),and control group knees.The difference in joint circumference(1.38±0.72)cm,ROM(108.47°±3.41°),VAS score(0.65±0.19),and WOMAC function score(52.93±4.88).The knee diameter difference,ROM,VAS score and knee WOMAC osteoarthritis score were compared,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The patients with tibial plateau fracture of Schatzker type ??? who underwent open reduction and internal fixation with titanium plate and screw were treated with Xunxi granules on the basis of routine treatment after operation,which was beneficial to the reduction of swelling after operation and the recovery of knee function.The curative effect was better than that of routine rehabilitation treatment of knee function.Therefore,Xunxi granules were used to promote the reduction of early swelling after operation of tibial plateau fracture and the recovery of knee function.Functional recovery has certain clinical application value.
