Objective:After tibial plateau fractures underwent open reductionand internal fixation operation, rehabilitation exerciseperiod will enter, this is a critical period of recovery. In thefield of orthopedics rehabilitation, combining the basic theoryand method of treatment of modern medicine and traditional Chinese medicine,to explore the clinical value and effect onthe postoperative rehabilitation of tibial plateau fracture. The rehabilitation therapy of combining traditional Chineseand Western medicine were used in early stage after operationof fracture of tibial plateau, and compared with controlgroup,to analyze the effect on the recovery of function afterknee surgery and the possible mechanism. Methods:Extraction from February2010to February2012indepartment of orthopedics of Hubei Zhongshan Hospitalunderwent open reduction and internal fixation of tibialplateau fracture patients, after operation were randomlydivided into study group(33cases)and control group (32cases),given conventional treatment and rehabilitationtraining of study group patients after operation,at the sametime, rehabilitation therapy of combining traditional Chineseand Western medicine were used early after operation, thecontrol group was only given conventional treatment and rehabilitation training. Two groups of patients for6to10months follow-up,monthly during follow-up shot kneeanteroposterior and lateral X-ray films, records of thecomplications and the time of fracture healing, and accordingto Lysholm knee function evaluation standard and evaluation ofpatients after operation and3months after operation of kneejoint indicators, statistical analysis of results, includingthe paired t test, group t test, x2test,take P<0.05as criterionfor significant test.Compare the two groups in effect ofrehabilitation after fractures operation on whether there aredifferences, cause analysis.Results:1.In February2010to February2012patients who participatedin tibial plateau fracture clinical study of functionalrehabilitation after operation were all followed up, follow-uptime ranged from6to10months.33patients in the study groupoccurred in1patients with traumatic arthritis, without theoccurrence of deep vein thrombosis of lower limb, knee joint stiffness and other complications;32patients in the controlgroup occurred in1patients with articular surface collapseagain to joint instability,3cases of patients with kneestiffness, occurrence of lower extremity deep venousthrombosis in1patients,3patients with traumatic arthritis.By statistical analysis, the study group joint stiffness andtraumatic arthritis incidence was significantly lower thanthat of the control group(P<0.05),with statisticalsignificance.2.Monthly review of a knee anteroposterior and lateral X-rayfilms, bone fracture healing was observed, the study group inMarch, the healing rate was51.5%, the control group in March, the healing rate was28.1%, the study group was significantlybetter than the control group, two groups of results havesignificant differences (P<0.05).3.According to the Lysholm knee score standard, on the basisof patients with claudication, support, interlocking, jointinstability, pain, swelling, climbing stairs, squatting, comprehensive evaluation of patients after operation and3months after operation of knee joint indicators, afteroperation and3months after operation compared with group, study group of the indicators are P<0.05, control group P<0.05;after operation, two groups of indicators were P>0.05,3monthsafter operation between the two groups were P<0.05, two weresignificant, with statistical significance. Conclusion:In the early functional exercise after operation and atthe same time with the rehabilitation therapy of combiningtraditional Chinese and Western medicine can reduce therehabilitation process of limb swelling, pain, muscle tensionand other issues, can improve the efficiency of functionalexercise, accelerate recovery of knee joint function of thepatients, also can promote the healing of tibial plateaufracture early, shorten the rehabilitation time,to enhance thepatient’s self-confidence,the activity in patients withearly, improve the quality of life of patients.Combined treatment of traditional Chinese an Western medicine cansignificantly improve the rehabilitation effect of tibialplateau fracture postoperative,it is worth in clinical use.
