Clinical Observation Of Qidi Jiangtang Decoction In Treating Type 2 Diabetes (Deficiency Of Qi And Yin)

Objective:In this study,by observing the clinical efficacy and safety of Qidi Jiangtang decoction in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with qi-yin deficiency syndrome,the application value of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of type 2 diabetes was discussed,and the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of type 2 diabetes were further reflectedMethods:66 patients with type 2 diabetes(qi-yin deficiency syndrome)were selected and given Qidi,Jiangtang decoction in addition to the basic treatment of diabetes education,diet control and exercise therapy for a total of 12 weeks.Changes of TCM syndrome scores,fasting blood glucose,2 hours postprandial blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin,fasting insulin,insulin resistance index,total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein and low-density lipoprotein were designed to compare before and after treatment to evaluate the effect.Results:In this study,66 cases were initially included,5 cases fell out during clinical research,and 61 cases were finally observed.The TCM symptoms of 61 patients in the treatment group were significantly improved after the treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of FPG,2hPG,and HbA1c were significantly reduced when compared with those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The insulin level of patients after the treatment was significantly improved compared with that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).When compared with those before treatment,the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C were significantly decreased and the level of LDL-C increased after the treatment,the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of improving TCM syndromes,6 patients(9.8%)had clinical cure,30 cases(49.2%)were markedly effective,22 cases(36.1%)were effective and 3 cases(4.9%)were ineffective,the total effective rate in TCM was 95.1%.In terms of lowering blood glucose,29cases(47.5%)were markedly effective,26cases(42.6%)were effective and 6cases(9.9%)were ineffective,the total effective rate of reducing blood glucose was 90.1%.No adverse events were found in the process of treatmentConclusion:Qidi jiang tang decoction can effectively reduce the levels of FPG,2HPG and HbAlc in patients with type 2 diabetes and syndrome of deficiency of qi and yin,improve insulin resistance,regulate blood lipid metabolism and significantly improve clinical symptoms of patients.It is safe and reliable,and is worthy further popularization and application in the clinical treatment.
