In order to enable patients to have a clear understanding of their own diseases after basic diagnosis and before surgery,to eliminate the concerns caused by information asymmetry between doctors and patients,and to correctly understand diseases,this paper designed a vr-based science popularization system for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in combination with the advantages of virtual reality in interactive,visual and immersive senses.Through the development and use of 3A commercial engine--UnrealEngine4,this system integrates the medical knowledge of various cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases into the corresponding organ model,and then establishes doctor-patient docking situation with the help of virtual reality technology,realizing the functions of doctor-patient consultation,human anatomy,and disease analysis.To evaluate the system,a user study was conducted comparing it to MSDMuanul,a medical science App.The research results show that the designed science popularization system of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases has better interaction,stronger sense of immersion and higher pertinence,which is more helpful for patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases to correctly know their own conditions,understand the treatment plan given by doctors and prevent such diseases.On the basis of collecting a large number of excellent VR application cases,this paper analyzes the current research status and existing problems of virtual reality of popular science of diseases,and refers to the successful experience of virtual reality in tourism,games and other fields,and conducts in-depth research on vr-based popular science system of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.The main achievements of the thesis are as follows:1.Analyze the experience methods and production ideas of the existing excellent virtual reality applications at home and abroad,extract the design advantages,and on the basis of this,the system's functional design and module division are carried out.The improvement of pico algorithm,the adaptation of key input and operation mode,and the design of the positioning scheme between different devices have greatly improved the compatibility of the software.2.The main modules of the designed popular science system for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are login and registration module,user center module,VR organ model display module,popular science for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases module,and online VR online doctor-patient consultation module.3.The system is built using UE4 engine and USES Gameplay framework during development.The program design USES object-oriented C++ language and Blueprint language in UE4 engine.The monitoring server is adopted in the network part.The server can be built on the local machine and the client can join the Session(Session)created by the server to realize network communication.The synchronization between the client and the server can be realized through replication and RPC call,which basically realizes the expected requirements of the system.4.The system achieves good compatibility with different VR devices,meeting the needs of VR on PC,including Oculusrift and HTCVive.Similarly,the software can also be adapted to an integrated machine like Oculusquest5.A user study was conducted to evaluate the acceptability of the application and the usability of the system by comparing it with MSDMuanul(Merck Diagnostic Manual),a medical science App.
