Research On Behavior Inhibition Of College Students

Facial expressions play a importent role in interpersonal communication,which can ensure the smooth progress of communication in that it convey emotion information in social interaction.Facial expression recognition is important for social adaptation.Study of facial expressions recognition has been able interest the rescarchers.In daily life,people always identify the scene as part of the facial expressions recognition rather than identify it in a isolated face.Behavioral inhibition is a kind of inhibitory control and is one of a importent components of the brain'executive function.The main performance of the behavioral inhibition is the inhibition for help,intimate relationship,confidence,regection,trust and obedience.The present study will no longer study isolated facial expressions,it will use experiment method study the difference of facial expressions recognition under different scenes.This study also distribute the subjets in high behavioral inhibition and low behavioral inhibition levels,investigate how the different levels of behavioral inhibition subjects identify expression when facial expressions are combine with sence.The present study also increased a survey questionnaire study to study the relationship between behavioral inhibition and social avoidance and distress and emotional adjustment difficulties in addition to the experimental study,taking into account the social adaptive significance of behavioral inhibition.The research findings are as followed:(1)When display different scene pictures,the subjects has a different accuracy when they identify different facial picture as followed.Fear facial expressions and happy facial expressions does not have a change with the scene pictures.This result apply that though the scene picture make a different in facial expression,the impact is not great.There is not a background effect.(2)There is a different accuracy when different behavioral inhibition subject identify the facial expressions.The scene has not influence the different behavioral inhibition subject when they identify facial expressions.Generally speaking,the high behavioral inhibition subject and the low behavioral inhibition subject does not have a change in identify the fear facial expression and the happy expression when the scene changes in happy,fear and insignificance.(3)Behavioral inhibition,social avoidance and distress and emotional regulation difficulties was a significant positive correlation.Social avoidance and distress and emotional regulation difficulties predictive behavioral inhibition effect.Social avoidance and distress exhibits marginally significant in the ninth grade.Behavioral inhibition,social avoidance and distress and emotional adjustment difficulties gender difference was not significant.
