| Autumn is composed by French female pianist Cécile Louise Stephanie Chaminade(1857-1944),it is the second etude of concert exercise op.35 in 1886.op.35 is not only the exclusive prograromatic concert etude with French romanticism of Chaminade,but also universally known as one of her representative works which been performed most.Seldom can we find Chaminade’s work in performance or teaching in China,neither in terms of music paper,acoustics nor references.By studying on this piece of work,this paper aims to provide some information for learners majored in piano playing.This paper is mainly divided into three parts: the first part introduces the lifetime of Chaminade and the background of her work Autumn;the second part analyzes the organization of Autumn by proposing new thoughts about characteristics of music creation in terms of symphonic creative thinking and dynamic function combining power speed and rhythm;the third part explains how to balance techniques,planes and colors in performance by parsing tone control in main and second part of Section A,as well as quick playing techniques in Section B.Meanwhile,by popularizing such excellent piece of work Autumn,this author would like to promote further female composers,female pianists and their achievements alike. |
