With the continuous development of China's foreign relations,more and more people are beginning to pay attention to China.Chinese language learning and Chinese and foreign cultural exchange activities are becoming more frequent too.Participating in short-term Chinese classes has become one of the ways to learn Chinese and participate in cultural exchange activities between China and foreign countries.In order to mobilize the enthusiasm of Chinese short-term students,stimulate the atmosphere of the classroom,conduct classroom teaching better and allow students to acquire more knowledge and skills in a shorter period of time,this paper combines the whole body reaction teaching method and the task-based teaching method.We started to study and tried a hybrid teaching method—the task-based whole body reaction method and applied this teaching method to Chinese short-term class teaching.The pedagogy is the core of the teaching model.lt is an important topic for us to learn as a foreign language educator.Our foreign Chinese teaching researchers also need to master the topic because the teaching method directly affects our teaching results.After more than half a century of development,task-based pedagogy has gradually become the mainstream of the teaching profession.The teaching methods also changed from the one-time pedagogy in which the teacher-centered method was taught in the classroom and the students practiced repeatedly.The task-based teaching method that takes the completion of the "task" as a learning tool and it also strengthened the training of students' practical ability in language,weakened the traditional grammar explanation and strengthened the cultural education while learning language.Since the design of tasks is mostly based on life and production practices,students will be more relaxed psychologically when performing tasks.This will help improve students' self-confidence greatly,and will enhance their enthusiasm for learning Chinese and improve the teaching Quality greatly too.The hallmark of the body-reaction teaching method is the teacher gives instructions verbally,and demonstrates the corresponding meaning by means of body movements at the same time.This helps the learner to understand,and when the learner fully understands the meaning of the sentence,he uses the body movements to give a correct response.The teaching method is very unique that combining body language and sound language,enabling students to understand their body movement language and increase their self-confidence in second language learning so that they can understand the language content they teach and use Language's communicative competence reasonably.It also conforms to the law of "hearing before talking" in language learning at the same time,so that students can effectively ease the tension when learning a foreign language.In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,there are many researches study a single teaching method in teaching Chinese language and just study the teaching Chinese language methods for short-term classes.However,few scholars combine the two teaching methods together to design a new one.The teaching model has been applied to Chinese teaching in short-term classes.At present,I have not found that some scholars use task-based teaching as a framework and uses the systemic reaction method as a guide to design teaching yet.I tried to apply a new teaching method to foreign students in Chinese language teaching,this is also the innovation of this article.In this study,I will practice the design of a new teaching model for short-term Chinese classes and demonstrate the feasibility of applying the combination of task-based approach and whole body reaction method in short-term teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.The new achievements and shortcomings of the new teaching method in the actual teaching process teaching,and the matters that teachers should pay attention to when using such a brand-new teaching mode for classroom teaching in the course of teaching are mainly adopted.The research methods are:literature method,experiment method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.I hope I can give my own contribution to the construction of a high-quality foreign language teacher team and promote the vigorous development of the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language through this research.
