In the early 1900 s,romanticism swept the whole Europe,and the national liberation movement of Italy made the arts field filled with strong national consciousness and humanistic spirits.With rise and prosperity of romantic literature and poetry,romantic opera schools represented by Rossini,Donizetti and Bellini started to rise sharply.Taking pursuit for lyricism and expression of human emotions as the purpose,many themes which expressed life of contemporary people came into being and were widely spread to this day.The educational circles widely believed that establishment of the Italian tradition romantic operate was mainly owed to Rossini,thus there are many studies on operas of Rossini.And among his successors,Donizetti had the greatest achievements and influence and thus became the composer who is most good at depicting inner heart of people with music after Rossini.Don Pasquale is the last excellent three-act comic opera of Rossini.The aria Quel Guardo by the heroine Novartis Rena is one of the famous arias in the opera,and it is often selected in contest of soprano.Women's charming,wisdom and brightness were expressed by the music.The essay would use musical aesthetics and musical analytics to discuss the whole opera and artistic characteristics of the aria from the theoretical perspective,deepen understanding of singers to aria through understanding to the composer and the opera,musical analysis of aria,analysis of personal characters of Novartis Rena,as well as study on modeling of singers to characters in the opera and singing processing so as to analyze and sing the work better,make audiences can directly feel the emotions that the work want to narrate and convey,and provide theoretical and analytical basis to learners and performers of vocal music and help them to understand and grasp it comprehensively.
