On The Importance Of "eyes, Minds And Minds" In Meticulous Figure Painting

This paper,titled "A Brief Discussion on the Significance of See with Eyes and Learn by Heart in Traditional Chinese Figure Painting Theories",on the basis of combing the painting techniques and evolution process of the theory of See with Eyes and Learn by Heart in Chinese classical works in history,aimed at explaining that the theory of See with Eyes and Learn by Heart plays a critical role in historical figure paintings,taking history as a mirror.Then it showed that in three aspects of the Chinese painting such as"the unique observation methods","the exquisite aesthetic requirements" and "subjective poetic expressions",the theory of See with Eyes and Learn by Heart plays an inevitable important part in traditional figure paintings.In addition,this article compared the application of See with Eyes and Learn by Heart in the Chinese fine brush work figure paintings with this technique in the Chinese flower-and-bird painting creations,sketch and memorable drawing in western paintings,tried to illustrates its distinctive features.Finally,this article according to current development status of the modern figure paintings,combined with personal painting practice,made a brief discussion on the theory of See with Eyes and Learn by Heart and gave us some inspiration and reference for moden paintings.It hereinafter put forward its own views regarding the three topics as follows:whether the application of camera can replace the technique of See with Eyes and Learn by Heart or not,how to cultivate this ability and individual experience in painting practice.
