Research On "Sun Bin Art Of War"

Sun Bin is the descendant of Sun Wu and an important strategist in the middle of the Warring States period.In the aspect of military practice,Sun Bin took part in the Guiling War and the Maling War,which made history move from the early period of the Warring States to the middle of the warring States.In the aspect of military theory,Sun Bin and his disciple's "Sun Bin's Art of War" represent the highest achievement of China's military theory in the middle period of Warring States period.At some time between the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Sui and Tang dynasties,"Sun Bin's Art of War" was unfortunately lost.After the rise of suspicion of ancient times in Song Dynasty,the existence of Sun Bin's Art of War was questioned by some scholars.In particular,because of the blood relationship between Sun Bin and Sun Wu,and the comparison between the spread of "Sun Tzu's Art of War" and the loss of "Sun Bin's Art of War",the relative clarity of Sun Bin's deeds contrasted with the relatively clear ones.The skeptic scholars mainly doubt the relationship between "Sun Tzu's Art of War" and "Sun Bin's Art of War",Sun Wu's relationship with Sun Bin.In 1972,a large number of bamboo slips related to military were found in the Han Tomb of Yinque Mountain,Linyi,Shandong Province,in which "Sun Tzu Art of War" and "Sun Bin's Art of War" appeared simultaneously.At this point,a thousand years of litigation has finally come to a conclusion: Sun Wu and Sun Bin are two people,and each has his writings.After the discovery of "Sun Bin's Art of War",the academic circle was greatly shocked,which immediately set off a research upsurge.Scholars have made some achievements in the interpretation of texts and the interpretation of ideas.This paper is based on the previous scholars' research.It focuses on three aspects.First,it reexamines Sun Bin's own life and deeds in order to explore the origin of his military thoughts.Second,in order to understand his military thoughts more accurately,I add some new opinions on the text of "Sun Bin's Art of War".Third,from the viewing angle of "four military families" in the "Han Shu Art of Art",the military thought of "Sun Bin's Art of War" was combed out.A systematic display of the "Sun Bin's Art of War" as a "military power" the ideological characteristics of the family.
