Research On Wei Junxiu's Calligraphy Thoughts

Wei Junxiu,a famous calligrapher in modern China.He has made great achievements.His calligraphy style is simple and unsophisticated,particularly outstanding of his cursive script.There are some critics who said Wei Junxiu,Yu Youren,Lin Sanzhi and Wang Quchang are the " four outstanding calligraphers of cursive script in the 20th century ".In Wei Junxiu's diary from 1966 to 2001,we can find a lot of references about his practice?evaluation?writing and other aspects in calligraphy.lt is a real record of Wei Junxiu's practice and thinking.Through the sorting and research of the diary,we analyzed and elaborated Wei Junxiu's unique calligraphy thoughts.It helps us to understand Wei Junxiu's calligraphy system comprehensively and deeply,and also can promote the relevant academic research in the future.This thesis is divided into four parts to interpretate Wei Junxiu's calligraphy thought.The first chapter introduces Wei Junxiu's life.It is from a teenager relative died one after another to middle age disaster and imprisoned life experiences of body and mind.The second chapter,we discussed the reasons for the formation of calligraphy and calligraphy origin of Wei Junxiu calligraphy thought from two aspects of internal cause and external cause.The third chapter,mainly systematically analyze Wei Junxiu calligraphy thought from the "aesthetic" and "practice" view "style" three aspects.to Probe into it's under the "adult" meteorological horizon's pursuit of "heaven and earth into an organic whole" calligraphy aesthetic concept.The fourth chapter,the academic value of study Wei Junxiu calligraphy thought,and the revelation to the development of contemporary calligraphy.This paper starts from the background of Wei Junxiu.To ha-ve a systematic study of Wei Junxiu's calligraphy thought,this paper combines his learning process and analyzes his thoughts,culture,aesthetic ideas and so on.Wei Junxiu,as a outstanding calligraphy of our country in the last century who have made great achievements in calligraphy creation and theoretical writings,is worth to be researched deeply and further.The comprehensive analysis and summary of Wei Junxiu's calligraphy thought will help us to promote the development of contemporary calligraphy.
