The mental toughness is an important position in the process of students' growth.The five year vocational college students are in the special period of learning how to deal with all kinds of events in their life and study.If they do not have a reasonable response,they will cause a certain degree of adverse effects on their growth.Therefore,this study tries to explore the status quo of the mental resilience of five year vocational college students,and to make a group psychological guidance scheme to intervene in the mental toughness of higher vocational students through the analysis of the status quo.Using the young people's Resilience Scale,five vocational high school students in 1000 Nanjing higher vocational schools were tested,results show:(1)There is no significant difference in the mental resilience of five year vocational college students in gender and single life,and there are significant differences in professional,family type,parents' educational background,place of birth and grade.Based on the present situation of the psychological resilience of the higher vocational students,50 subjects were selected by the Adolescent Mental Resilience Scale,including 25 students with high mental toughness level(control group)and 25 students with low mental toughness level(experimental group).Through the implementation of a targeted group psychological counseling program to the experimental group,the higher vocational education was promoted to improve the higher vocational education.The level of mental resilience.The results were as follows:(1)the scores of the students in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the pre test;(2)there was no significant difference between the scores and the pre test scores of the students in the control group.(3)there was no significant difference in the score between the control group and the control group after the group counseling.Conclusion:(1)the mental resilience of the five year vocational college students is generally above the middle level,and the five dimensions from high to low are target concentration,interpersonal assistance,positive cognition,emotional control and family support.(2)adopting targeted group counseling activities may effectively improve the low resilience level of five year vocational college students.
