This paper selected a scale of evaluating college students’resilience after studying their basic resilience condition and affecting factors. According to specific factors in the scale, a specific group psychological counseling intervention plan was designed. In order to improve college student group’s resilience ability, students with lower resilience ability were asked to do the group psychological counseling. After evaluating the group psychological counseling’s effectiveness, this paper further discussed the effectiveness and feasibility of using group psychological counseling to improve college students’ resilience ability.How to do:Using CD-RISC (Connor-Davidson) resilience scale as the tool of filter and evaluation before and after the group psychological counseling intervention. College students, who were applied to this project through campus recruitment and student advisors’promotion, all asked to be interviewed and finish a questionnaire. According to their interview and questionnaires’results,24 students with lower resilience ability and also meeting the group requirements were selected afterwards as subjects of group psychological counseling. Those 24 students were divided into 2 groups at random: experimental group and control group. The experimental group was received eight-times group psychological counseling while the control group received no counseling. When the group counseling was finished, these two groups’students received posttests separately. Three months later, the experimental group’s students received another follow-up test. In the end, statistics in different stages were compared and analyzed.Apart from quantitative evaluation, this study also conducted quality evaluation through the feedbacks of group members after every group counseling and the observation of team members and leader.Conclusions of this study:1. It’s feasible for college students to improve their resilience ability through group counseling intervention.2. Group counseling can generally improve college students’resilience ability and last for some time.3. The group counseling intervention plan this study designed is effective and feasible and can be used in college psychological health education to improve college students’resilience ability.
