The psychological level of elasticity is an important indicator of mental health status, which is also important for environmental adaptation. This study aims at investigating the present level of psychological resilience of boarding pupils, and selecting some pupils who are in the low level of psychological resilience to accept counseling. It can provide practical reference for elementary school students’ mental health intervention if it’s effective.This study is divided into two parts. In the first part, the researcher issues questionnaires of "Adolescent Resilience Scale" in a boarding primary school, to know the differences in the psychological resilience between grades, gender, whether the only-child and whether the class cadres. The conclusion contains: (1) The boarding pupils’ psychological resilience level lies in the upper level. (2) The girls on goal focused, friends support and interpersonal assistance dimensions are significantly higher than boys. (3)There is no significant difference in the dimension of whether the only-child or not. (4) The scores of the class cadres are higher than others on goal focused, family support interpersonal assistance emotional control and psychological resilience. (5) The level of psychological resilience are different between grades. The grade four students of boarding primary school in psychological resilience are significantly higher than grade five; The grade six in positive cognition, emotional control, positive cognitive, family support, interpersonal assistance and psychological resilience are significantly higher than grade five.The second study is to screen sixteen students with low level of psychological resilience and divide them into two groups, one as the experimental group, and the other as the comparative one. We hold group counsel for 12 times to the experimental group, while do nothing to the comparative group. All participants were assessed by RSCA before and after group counseling. According to the measurement result,self-assessment of the group members and others’ observation, the conclusion are: (1)The before and after tests of the experiments group is significant in difference. The after tests of the experiments group and the control tests is significant in difference.(2) The before and after tests of the control group is no significant in difference. The before test of the experiment group and the control group is no significant in difference. (3)The track test and the before tests of the experiments group is significant in difference, and there is no significant with after test. (4)The track test of the control group is no significant in difference with the before test and after test.It’s an effective way to improve the level of boarding students’ psychological resilience through group counseling.
