As a new sport,sports dance is welcomed by the public in the society.In recent years,it is also widely promoted in Colleges and Universities.Teaching guidelines for physical education in general colleges and universities in China,which has been put into effect in 2003,emphasized that classroom teaching should be organically combined with extracurricular and outside sports activities,and school activities should also be closely related to the society.Under the background of the curriculum reform of "college sports should be closely connected with society",many colleges and universities have introduced sports dance,and set up related courses.However,there are some obstacles in the development of sports dance in Colleges and Universities.For lack of the sense of identity,college students don't have high acceptance of sports dance.The methods of Literary Review,Questionnaire,Interview and Mathematical Statistics are used in this study to investigate students'identity difference to dance sports.Try to find out the factors that affect college students'identification to sports dance,and put forward the strategy to promote college students' sense of identity.According to the survey(College Students' identification of sports dance),college students who have studied sports dance focus on six aspects of sports dance,its value,form,style,music,dress and etiquette.Those who have not studied sports dance focus on its fitness,music and etiquette,but easily ignore its social value,form,style and dress.Here are the main factors that affect college students' identity to sports dance:their sports and fitness habits,their choice of sports,their understanding of traditional behavior etiquette,their cognition of sports dance,their identification degree of sports dance,and college students' attitude towards sports dance.By comparing the college students who have learned sports dance with those who have not learned,study shows that students are much different in terms of the choice of sports fitness project,the cognitive way of sports dance and their identification degree.They have little difference on the understanding of sports fitness habits,traditional behavior,etiquette,and the learning attitude of sports dance.At last,based on the results of the survey,the author put forward the strategy of promoting college students' identification with sports dance.By developing dance related lectures,offering sports dance courses,organizing student associations and sports dance parties,encouraging performances&competitions and other ways,we can expand the student group of sports dance.
