Research On The Ethics Of Contemporary Chinese Citizens' Environmental Responsibility

In today's society,the increasingly severe environmental crisis poses a threat to human survival.Therefore,we gradually realize the importance of harmony between human being and nature.It has been proved that the construction of ecological civilization is the correct strategy for the harmonious development of human and nature.Recently,report of the 19 th national congress of the communist party of China pointed out that ecological civilization is the millennium plan for the sustainable development of the Chinese nation;we must set up and practice the concept of green hills and clear waters;we should adhere to the national policy of saving resources and protecting the environment,and treat the ecological environment like life.Building ecological civilization is not only the responsibility of the state and the government,but also the responsibility of all citizens.As far as our country's bad environmental condition is concerned,the consciousness of citizen's environmental responsibility is not strong.Therefore,in order to realize the harmonious development of human and nature,it is urgent to improve their environmental responsibility.This paper analyzes and studies citizen's environmental responsibility from the Angle of ethics.In addition to introduction and conclusion,there are three parts in this article.In the first part,the paper discusses the connotation and basis of environmental responsibility ethics.Firstly,the concept of responsibility,responsibility ethics and environmental responsibility ethics is defined.Secondly,this paper expounds the theoretical basis of environmental responsibility ethics,mainly including Marxist ecological ethics thought,ancient Chinese environmental thought and western ecological ethics thought.Finally,the realistic basis of environmental responsibility ethics is explained.The close relationship between human and environment,the prominent environmental problem and the dilemma of environmental ethics are the realistic basis of environmental responsibility ethics.The second part,this paper discusses the basic requirements of environmental responsibility ethics for Chinese citizens.Because environmental responsibility ethics plays an important role in China's ecological civilization construction,so citizens mustadhere to some basic principles of environmental responsibility ethics.It is the first principle to insist on the harmonious and sustainable development of man and nature;It is the key principle to insist on the correspondence between environmental rights and responsibilities;It is the basic principle to insist on the dialectical unity of the freedom of will and the ability of responsibility.Nature gives human beings the space to live and the materials of our lives,and human survival must depend on the natural environment.In consequence,human beings must stick to the basic norms of respecting,appreciating and protecting the natural environment.In the third part,this article puts forward the effective way of cultivating citizen environmental responsibility from the following three perspectives:school,family and society.And the paper proposes to give full play to the combined forces of these three aspects.First,school should play a leading role in the cultivation of citizen environmental responsibility,clarifying education target,changing education concept,updating education content,broadening teaching method and optimizing campus culture.Secondly,the family should bear the basic role of the cultivation of citizen environmental responsibility.The family education concept has a profound and long-lasting impact on children,so parents should change the inappropriate environment education concept.Parents are the children's first teachers,and the correct environmental behavior of parents also plays an important role model for children.Thirdly,the society should provide good guarantee for the cultivation of citizens' environmental responsibility.On one hand,we will improve laws and regulations,enhance the role of restriction,and severely punish those who damage the environment.On the other hand,we should use the Internet media to publicize the actions of protecting or destroying the environment in a timely manner,making it play the correct opinion guiding role.
