The image of the gourd has a long history in Chinese literature.From the pre-Qin folk songs and the prose of Zhuzi,to the various styles of the Qing Dynasty,the image of the gourd appears.Compared with the previous generations,the Ming Dynasty was an era in which the commodity economy was greatly developed.The environment in politics,economy,culture,and other aspects was different from the previous generation.Therefore,in the expression of thoughts and emotions,the Hulu image in Ming Dynasty literature was given a new meaning,and new interpretations and interpretations appeared in specific literary works.Therefore,we will use the image of the gourd in the Ming Dynasty literature as the research object,combine specific literary works,and discuss the cucurbit image in Ming Dynasty literature from the aspect of symbolic meaning.The first chapter discusses the image of Crane Calabash in the Ming Dynasty literature.The gourd is often regarded as a symbol of the noble hermit.The image of the crane and gourd is based on this,adding the character of the “crane”,which is “ang,po,er,and check”.The image of crane calabash bears the will of the secluded people in Beiguo area from the end of the Ming Dynasty to the beginning of the Ming Dynasty and the common interests of the evaders.The second chapter discusses poetic images of the Ming Dynasty literature.The image of poetry gourd is derived from the late Tang and Tang Dynasty allusions.In poetry after the Tang Dynasty,this imagery is often used to express the poet's desire to stay away from the secular world,and his pursuit of arrogant feelings.In the Ming Dynasty literature,the distance between poetry image and secular life was reduced and became an important artifact in the literati's life and friendship.It was often used to show the leisurely and elegant life of the Ming literati.The third chapter discusses the image of vine cucurbit in the Ming Dynasty literature.The entwined biological characteristics of the vine gourd are inherited in the practical use of the literature of the Ming Dynasty,and it has also been extended and innovated.In the literature of the Ming Dynasty,the image of vines and cucurbits,the image of the gourd vines,the growth of the gourd,the growth of the gourd,and the principle of climbing the tree to absorb energy,symbolizes the scum of the villain,fame and fortune,and the darkness of officialdom.The fourth chapter discusses the image of medicine in the Ming Dynasty.The image of the medicine hyacinth is closely related to the Taoist culture.Because of its good storage properties,it is often used as a storage container for the potion of yin medicine and has since become a symbol of the identity of a Taoist monk.The medicine gourd in the Ming Dynasty literature was based on this and was motivated by the process of promoting the dissemination and secularization of Taoism.Through the cultivation of the Taoist people,it was given the responsibility of educating the world.The fifth chapter discusses the Hutianhulan image in the Ming Dynasty literature.“Huotian” originated from Taoist classics,but also inherited the ideas of hyacinth worship in myths and legends.Buddhism's concept of space is also inextricably linked with it.These characteristics make Pottery Gourd nurture everything while possessing infinite potential.Therefore,in the literature of the Ming Dynasty,pot-and-calendula images played the role of the source of life.It was also influenced by its source,so pottery figurines symbolizes the fusion of Buddhism and Taoism in the literature of the Ming Dynasty.
