Research And Application Based On Chinese Gourd Decorative Art

Chinese gourd decorative arts are the tributary of Chinese arts and crafts.Gourd decorative arts take gourds as raw materials and write articles on them,which gives them additionally aesthetic value.This paper takes pyrograph and sculpture of gourd as the starting point,focusing on the decorative arts of Chinese gourd.First of all,based on the research of relevant literature theory,this article is familiar with the development of Chinese gourd culture and the classification of Chinese gourd decoration technology.Secondly,according to public’s understanding about the gourd pyrograph and carving and demand research,the graduation design,borrowed from the Chinese gourd’s decorative means and methods which are inherited to the present to pyramid and carving and other production methods to create a series of lighting works,create a series of lighting works by pyrograph and carving.The innovation of this graduation design based on the gourd pyrograph and the combination of gourd pyrography and carving not only make the works satisfy the public aesthetics but also increase the value of practicality.Finally,it summarizes and draws the conclusion of my own creative process and sentiment in the creative practice and makes a theoretical summary.
