Gu Kai,a screenwriter with a strong “problem” consciousness, not only paid persistent attention to the status quo of the peasants with a high degree of enthusiasm, but also actively followed up with practical issues in the peasant life with keen insight. He created a number of outstanding works with his rich experience in screenwriting.Rural TV dramas, the important repercussions of these dramas have aroused widespread concern in the academic research community and fulfilled the responsibilities of farmers' loyal endorsers. This article aims to describe Gu Kai's four rural TV series Qing Ling Ling's Water and blue sky,Qing Ling Ling's Water and blue sky 2,Neng Ren Feng Tian Gui and Ma Xiangyang 's journey to the Countryside. The research object, starting from the core propositions and logical structure of the writer's art,is guided by related theories of screenplay, film and television, and sociology, and summarizes and studies the overall characteristics of Gu Kai's rural TV dramas. The first chapter is mainly a macro-interpretation of the selection of Cao Kai's local themes.Gu Kai's theme setting in rural dramas is mainly reflected by three dimensions, namely, keeping watch over local cultural homeland, paying attention to the local ecological environment, and focusing on the issues of local people's livelihood. This writing method based on questions not only gives the drama a strong dramatic tension, but also shows the valuable social responsibility that Gu Kai has shouldered as an art worker. The second chapter analyzes the character image of Gu Kai's drama. This chapter,in conjunction with the relevant person modeling theory, analyzes how Gu Kai has vividly presented the confrontation between reform ideals and rural realities through the setting of characters.Through the daring role of the hero camp, the image of the “good” cadres who are concerned with the villagers, the “new” youth image of being flexible and innovative, and the image of the clan parents of the opposing characters, the specific interpretation of the female image under the peasant consciousness. As a result, the relationship between innovation and persistence, progress, and ambiguity is tense and ready to take hold, and this is also an indication of the immense dilemma that ideals shine into the country. The third chapter mainly analyzes the setting of drama conflict, discusses the multiple resistances that describe the ideal progress in Gu Kai's plays, and specifically analyzes how Gu Kai sets people and the environment, people and people, and people and self in the process of solving problems.Conflicting conflicts. The setting of dramatic conflict not only enables the dramatic tension of the play to be fully displayed, but also explores the complex relationship between ideals and native areas in depth and multi-angles,and fully pave the way for the final solution of the problem. The fourth chapter mainly elaborates the outcome of Gu Kai's play. The ending means the solution of the problem.Through analysing the outcome of Gu Kai's play,we can find that his ideal rural area is the homeland where the spirit and material are mutually beneficial and co-prosperous,the countryside where the rural and the cities co-exist,the rural where economy and ecology live in harmony, and the society through Gu Kai.The ideal value and the value significance of rural drama are summed up in order to provide some inspiration for the future development of rural drama.
