Fei Xihuang was a poet in the early Qing Dynasty whose ancestral home was Sichuan Xinfan.Afterwards,his father Fei Mi moved the whole family to Yangzhou owing to the war and settled down.Fei Xihuang's poetry compositions had a certain influence on Kang Xi Parnassus and his poems began to be famous at that time.His grandfather Fei Jingyu and his father Fei Mi were Confucian and literature experts and were the adherents of the Ming Dynasty at the same time.So Fei Xihuang's life experiences,poetry compositions and poetic theory were all deeply influenced by his family.His literary creations displayed a dense complex of Ming and revealed distinct cognitive value in the poetry history of the early Qing Dynasty.This article is divided into three chapters.The first chapter studies Fei Xihuang's family and life experiences.The chapter does further research on how Fei's family has a deep influence on Xihuang's thought and character and learns more about his lifetime.The second chapter is the research on works of Fei Xihuang.In this section,his poetical works are analyzed in detail and are concluded roundly.What he wrote were often expressed the lonely feeling like losing country,and he always imposed the complex of Ming on himself when writing poetry.The resulting style characteristic of his works are also studied.The last chapter is the study on the theory and value of Fei Xihuang.He was influenced by the book YaLun,wrote by his grandfather Fei Jingyu,so he mainly studied the Han poem and Tang poem,at the same time,required the way to write poetry should be strict.And he thought the emotion in poetry contains most.This article strives to evaluate his position and value in the literary world equitably.
