Tang Xuanzong, who combined the rule of Kaiyuan and Tianbao chaos, sparked a writing boom among scribes in this dynasty.Focusing on his political life and love life, the literati in the middle Tang Dynasty said Xuanzong in poems, which constituted a rich aspect of Tang literature writing. This literary writing does not objectively restore history and Xuanzong, but is infiltrated by the author's "complex".This "complex"shows the characteristics of stage and complexity due to the changes in the spirit of the times and the mentality of scholars.Based on this finding, this article takes the "Ming Huang Complex" in the middle Tang literati as the research object, and conducts research in four parts. The first chapter first examines the formation of Tang Xuanzong and the "Ming Huang Complex",including the Prosperous Times of the Xuanzong Dynasty and the Unrest in Tianbao, and the changes in the political environment and the mentality of scholars after the middle Tang Dynasty. The formation of the "Ming Huang complex" is not only the efforts of an era and a group, but also the result of the concerted efforts of many parties.Literature is a mirror of politics. How did Tang Xuanzong's ruling policy and personal style change in the early and late periods, and what problems did the chaos caused by him leave to the Mid-Tang Dynasty, the reason why the Mid-Tang Dynasty literati under Dali had complex feelings for Xuanzong. The problems need to be combed and explained in this chapter. The second, third, and fourth chapters go down the timeline of the Mid-Tang Dynasty, and analyze the writing of the Ming Emperor by different poets in the three historical periods of the Dali,Zhenyuan,Yuanhe.During the Dali period, people such as Wei Yingwu,Geng Wei,Lu Lun,Rong Yu,and Li Duan all experienced the Anshi Rebellion and had a direct deep impression on Xuanzong.Suddenly the prosperous Tang died and their memories of peace were stunned. What they saw was only the faint reality and the difficult destiny. Therefore, most of their writings on the emperor are disillusioned and sentimental. They are soaked in personal grief and emotions,;then come to Zhenyuan. At this time, the poet's "Ming Huang complex" writing clearly has a transitional characteristic, such as the works of Gu Kuan,Li Yi,Quan Deyu,Wang Jian, etc.,which not only continues the nostalgic sentiment of recalling the Xuanzong Dynasty in the Dali period, but also has a rational understanding of the Xuanzong Dynasty and critical consciousness has also gradually risen, reflecting the overall style of weakening emotions and increasing rationality;and to Yuanhe,Xuanzong has become a historical symbol. The lack of personal experience enables Yuanhe poets to start from a more calm and objective point of view to treat the emperor. In addition, the resurgence of the Xianzong dynasty once again stimulated the enthusiasm of the scholars to reform politics and regain peace.Under the call of the spirit of the times, poets such as Bai Juyi,Yuan Zhen and Liu Yuxi discussed many issues of the Xuanzong dynasty in order to remedy the current disadvantages, and the ideological benefits in the writing of Ming Huang's poems became more profound.Throughout the three dynasties, the literary writing of the "Ming Huang complex" of the poets in the Mid-Tang Dynasty is constantly evolving.Their concerns and reflections on Ming Huang have distinct stage characteristics and an inseparable side that inherits the predecessors. In short, the writing of the "Ming Huang complex" by the Mid-Tang Dynasty literati was a contemporary thing written by Tang people, and the feelings infiltrated there were quite complex and diverse. These poems have both historical and literary values. They are indispensable first-hand materials for understanding Xuanzong's political and social life, and also valuable materials for reconstructing Xuanzong's literature image.
