Arts and commerce is a topic of great concern in the context of global ization in the twenty-first Century.With the continuous changes of the times,modern technology and concepts are constantly advancing.Contemporary arti sts generally have an open concept to face this topic.The combination of art and business of the more successful artists first reminds us of contemporary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama,Yoshitomo Nara,Murakami Takashi.With th e global integration and diversification promote the combination of Japanese and Western culture,so that they began to dig their Japanese traditional arts and culture,to Japanese traditional art and Western culture as the foundation of contemporary art fusion exploration,from expanding their art.They are a ware of the necessity of art through cooperation with commercial cross-borde r,from elements of the concept,from plane to space,from art to art,again to make their art back to life so far has those dead loss of vitality of the ar tistic tradition.Through reviewing the art of three artists,their art in the pro cess of commercialization of the mode of operation is basically the same,fir st of all,they are very focused on the artistic connotation and adhere to the refined works of art itself;second,they are clearly aware of the art audienc e to play a full role of Art;third their art,the intermediary also plays a ver y important role in the commercialization of art.For the three Japanese cont emporary artists,their artistic personalities are unique,and their emphasis is different in the process.Based on the theories of art,culture,sociology and communication,this paper will analyze the artistic commercialization of three contemporary Japanese artists,Kusama Yayoi,Yoshitomo Nara and Muraka mi Takashi,so as to achieve the synchronous growth of artistic value and co mmercial value.The success of their artistic commercialization mainly depend s on the following three aspects: first,the result of artists' self refine on art;second,the interaction between artists and the public;third,the construction of context promotes the audience's understanding of works of art.Because o f this,by clearing up the three Japanese contemporary artists' combination of art and commerce,it will provide some ideas for the commercialization of contemporary Chinese art.
