Research On The Integration And Development Of The Convention And Exhibition Industry And Cultural And Creative Industries

As an important part of Cultural and Creative Industry,exhibition economy is a type of new economy which is including conference,exhibition,festival,performance,competition and other activities.Since the late 90 s of the last century,the exhibition economy in China has developed very fast and has made a significant achievement.Because of the short time of industrialization,the exhibition economy still needs further study to improve.Creativity is the core element of Convention and Exhibition Industry.But so far,none of the research has focused on this issue.This article argues that the Convention and Exhibition Industry is not the accumulation of various activities,but a structured existence,which depends on its internal ideas not external forms.What does the internal creativity include? The planning of exhibition,the process of exhibition and exhibition tourism all need various creativities inside.If the exhibition is regarded as a kind of cultural service goods,the only way to help exhibition to become a high quality commodity is utilizing creativity.From the perspective of the development of Cultural and Creative Industry,the Cultural and Creative Industry suffers negative impact without the Convention and Exhibition Industry.The Cultural and Creative Industry is result of the exchanges and collisions between different cultures and ideas,that cannot be existed without exhibition.Therefore,it is significant in theoretical and practical to study the creativity in Exhibition Industry,to study the exhibition in Creative Industry,and to promote the integration of Exhibition Industry and Creative Industry.
