With the implementation of the new curriculum reform,teaching evaluation is becoming more and more important in teaching activities.Teaching evaluation plays an active and effective role in improving teaching quality and teaching level.Correct teaching evaluation is of great significance for improving the quality of English classes and can effectively improve students' learning efficiency.The implementation of the new evaluation model is part of the English curriculum reform.The aim,content,standard and method of modern education evaluation must adapt to the comprehensive development of students.Formative assessment focuses on the development process of students in all aspects.Therefore,it is necessary to rebuild the scientific and effective formative evaluation index system.This paper takes the students majoring in business English in the Z vocational secondary school as the research object,and finds out the existing problems based on the in-depth understanding of the current evaluation of business English students in the school.This paper explores the reasons behind the problems and creates formative evaluation index system in secondary vocational English teaching by referring to the formative evaluation index system of secondary vocational schools at home and abroad.First,on the basis of the principles of the establishment of the evaluation index system and the factors considered in the establishment of the evaluation index system,the formative evaluation index system in the English teaching of secondary vocational schools is reconstructed;Secondly,the analytic hierarchy process is used to assign weights to the selected evaluation indexes.Then the formative evaluation index system is applied in English teaching to analyze and study the rationality of the index system.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions on the implementation of formative assessment in secondary vocational English classes.This paper constructs a formative evaluation index system with students as the main body of evaluation and business English majors as the research object.In the process of construction,AHP and questionnaire survey are used to ensure the scientific nature of the research,and ensure that the established evaluation Index system is compatible with secondary vocational school.The reconstructed evaluation index system can improve the learning interest of business English major students in secondary vocational school and promote the rapid development of secondary vocational education.
