In the two languages of Korean and Chinese, the classification criteria of verbs do not correspond. This paper first sorts out the classification criteria of common verbs in Chinese and Korean. The classification criteria of commonly used verbs in Chinese mainly include such as according to the meaning of verbs, according to whether action behaviors are controlled, and according to the number of verbs. On the other hand, for the common verb of Korean, classification criteria are based on whether the action behavior involves other things, the action behavior affects other action, the action behavior is actively classified, the action behavior is active, and the verb can be used separately according to the verb.On this basis, the classification results of two language verbs are compared. The most obvious differences between the meaning classification of verbs in Chinese and the meaning classification represented of verbs in Korean is the "symmetric verbs" and "beneficial verbs".In addition,Korean verbs are generally not considered when classifying Chinese verbs based on it involves other things, the action behavior affects other action actors, the action behavior is active,or it can be used separately. The above classification criteria in Korean are rarely taken into account in Chines studies, but they all have certain implications for Chinese verb teaching. We use the above criteria for Korean verb classification to classify the verbs in the HSK6 syllabus. It is hoped that it will help to distinguish the differences between Chines and Korean verbs and further understand the the characteristics of Chinese verbs.
