Research On The Fictitious Phenomenon Of Personal Pronouns In Modern Chinese

This paper studies the bleaching of personal pronouns in modern Chinese.To distinguish the personal pronouns from ordinary personal pronouns,firstly,the article summarizes the phenomenon of personal pronoun grammaticalization in modern Chinese.We define the personal pronouns imaginary as the process that transforming from meanings into non-realistic words.On the basis of analysising the corpus,the bleaching of personal pronouns can be divided into three categories: shifting reference,general reference and empty reference.According to the category of personal pronouns,the article divides personal pronouns into the first personal pronouns,the second personal pronouns and the third personal pronouns.The diachronic analysis and interpretation of the pronouns that refer to the imaginary function are compared and summarized in combination with the other pronouns of the synchronic plane.Finally,the article discusses the motivation and mechanisms of the moderns Chinese personal pronouns bleaching,and believes that its motivations mainly include syntactic position and character using frequency.The mechanisms consist of analogy,subjectification,and rhythm.
