On Lin Geng's View Of New Poem Form

Starting with Lin Geng's concern for new poetry and his experience and clues in the study of classical poetry,this paper reflects the concept of intertextual formal poetry with the same structure of ancient and modern through the historical mirror of concretization and contextualization.Apart from the introduction,the full text is divided into four chapters:The first chapter introduces the formation of Lin Geng's concept of "the history of poetry form".Based on the internal self-discipline of classical poetry history,it focuses on Lin Geng's description of the poetic path from Chuci to Wuqi-yan poetry,and corresponds to the pure poetry proposition of foreign symbolism.Then it interprets the debate between "freedom" and "rhythm" in the early stage of the birth of new poetry,so as to pave the way for further discussion of "natural" poetry.The second chapter takes "nature" as the yardstick of new poetry,refers to the deepening of "modernity" and the rise of poetry fever in the late Tang Dynasty,and eliminates the disadvantages of the contradiction of "nature".As Lin Geng's "natural poems" attempt to bridge or relativize the distinction between "rhythm" and "freedom",they intertwine "sensibility" on the level of language form and structure,which is also the embodiment of his life poetics.In the third chapter,with the help of the rediscovery of "lines of poetry",the author summarizes Lin Geng's poetic conception of new poetry,analyses the poetic terms of "semi-comic rhythm" and "rhythmic syllable group" which are mutually mortise and tenons,and proves that the "May 4th Style" which is based on the "upper May 4th Movement" is the typical line reflecting his "line of construction".Chapter four is based on the present situation,choosing Lin Geng's poetics,which relies on language and the book of the poetry itself,and reassert its concept of "nature" in improving the stylistic function of new poetry.By citing the historical connection between quatrains and new poem of Jue Ju,it is especially beneficial to the realm of new poetry creation.
