| In the historical context of globalization,the upsurge of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and learning Chinese has risen one after another.As the main basis of teaching and learning activities,the compiling concept and quality of textbooks have been paid more and more attention by education departments and academia.Especially since the 1990 s,the compilation of Chinese textbooks has changed from "structure as the outline" to the "structure-function-culture" mode.The cultural content of language textbooks has been paid more and more attention,but there is still a lack of precise outline to measure the difficulty."Developing Chinese advanced reading" is one of the representatives of Chinese reading textbooks in the new era.It has been widely praised by teachers and students and is of great help to the cultivation of learners’ reading skills.But is it reasonable for the editor to deal with the cultural factors hidden in the corpus? This paper will take this as the entry point to study the selection of cultural factors in developing Chinese and advanced reading.The paper is divided into introduction,first,second and third chapters,and conclusion.The introduction clarifies the theoretical value and practical significance of the topic selection,outlines the current orientation and classification criteria of cultural factors,and the research on the selection and compilation of cultural factors in textbooks.In addition,the main research contents,methods and basis of this paper are briefly described.The first chapter focuses on the selection of cultural factors in textbooks.This paper mainly classifies and counts the cultural factors appearing in the textbooks according to the "Framework of Classification of Cultural Points in International Chinese Textbooks".Through the comparative analysis of the number of cultural factors,the types of cultural factors involved and the proportion of ancient and modern cultural factors,the characteristics and shortcomings of the selection of cultural factors in textbooks are summarized.Chapter two,based on the previous chapter,summarizes and analyses the types and characteristics of cultural factors in textbooks.Cultural factors are implicit and dependent,and there is no fixed form of existence.The presentation of cultural factors in reading textbooks is closely related to the style of writing.The presentation of cultural factors in Developing Chinese Advanced Reading can be divided into four parts: text,annotation,exercises and pictures.Vocabulary in text is the most common form of presentation of cultural factors.Chapter three combines the relevant theories of textbook compilation,and puts forward some suggestions for revision and improvement in view of the problems of selecting and compiling cultural factors in textbooks.Suggestions are divided into two parts: first,the selection of cultural factors should be moderate,pay attention to the close combination of the times and practicability,and should also appropriately increase the cultural factors of communication;second,the presentation of cultural factors should be accurate,especially the selection of pictures.In addition,it can decompose the cultural factors that are over-extended in the annotations.It is also necessary to increase the types of exercises and incorporate cultural content into skill training.The concluding part puts forward prospects and ideas for the follow-up research.In addition,influenced by the length of the text,the classification criteria of cultural factors adopted and all cultural factors appearing in the textbooks are presented in the appendix in the form of tables.To sum up,this paper makes a comprehensive and in-depth study on the selection and compilation of cultural factors in "Developing Chinese.Advanced Reading",with a view to providing theoretical thinking and practical exploration value for the reprinting of textbooks. |
