Research On The Spread Of Yuefu Poems In The Mid-Tang Dynasty

The prosperity of Yuefu poetry is closely related to the reason why it can be widely spread.Therefore,it is of special value to study the creation of Yuefu Poetry from the perspective of communication.This thesis chooses the Yuefu poetry of the middle Tang Dynasty to study the relationship between the creation and dissemination from the aspects of its creation and dissemination background,communicator,the modes of dissemination and the effect of dissemination.The discussion is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is about the background of the creation and dissemination of Yuefu poetry in the middle Tang Dynasty.The trend of retrogression and innovation appeared in the literary circles because of the influence of the political changes at that time.And the situation of internal and external troubles impacted the government institutions,which makes the prosperous Yuefu agencies gradually becoming weak and the binding force to the members of departments was declining.A considerable number of musicians and geisha went out of the palace and entered into the folk.Meanwhile,Yuefu poets attached increasing importance to the spread of their own works,which finally formed the background of the creation and dissemination of Yuefu poetry in the middle Tang Dynasty.The second chapter is about the subject of communication of Yuefu poetry in middle Tang Dynasty.The main creative and communication personnel in this period are sorted out.The main subject of communication is the geisha,the populace and the poet.There are both cooperation and division existed between the creation subject and the dissemination subject,which together compose the prosperous movement of Yuefu poetry in the middle Tang Dynasty.The third chapter is about the influence that dissemination modes of Yuefu poetry in the Tang Dynasty had made to the creation of Yuefu poetry.The modes of communication,mainly includes the feast of singing and dancing,writing for singing,as well as passing on by mouth,have exerted an important influence on the Yuefu poetry’s writing content,proposition way and the artistic technique.The creation and dissemination of Yuefu poetry was benefited by a variety of types of communication,which are mutually verified by the content of poetry and the current social situation at that time.The fourth chapter is about the significance that the dissemination effect of Yuefu Poetry to the creation of Yuefu Poetry.Yuefu poems formed great influence in the society at that time relying on the abundant communication modes,which was paid attention to the rulers and favored by the lower people.The creators also used the creation of Yuefu poems to convey their own political proposition for the rulers.At the same time,it satisfied the people’s entertainment needs and further stimulated the creative enthusiasm of Yuefu poets.
