In recent years,textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language have emerged in an endless stream,but the ancient Chinese textbooks for international students have been in a neglected position.A set of good ancient Chinese textbooks is not only a premise for the smooth development of teachers' teaching work,but also a first-hand information for foreign students to learn ancient Chinese.In the process of learning Chinese ancient Chinese,the dependence of foreign students on teaching materials is very strong.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the ancient Chinese textbooks for foreign students.This paper compares two sets of ancient Chinese textbooks for overseas student: A Classical Chinese Reader and Classical Chinese,from the overall arrangement of textbooks,texts,exercises and language knowledge,and analyzes the differences between the two sets of textbooks.To find the advantages of the two sets of textbooks and point out some shortcomings in the textbooks,such as: some texts are difficult,the number of exercises is insufficient,the comments are not appropriate,and the grammar items are unreasonable.The comparative analysis of the existing ancient Chinese textbooks is the key to strengthening the innovation and writing of ancient Chinese textbooks for foreign students.This paper gives relevant suggestions for the problems in the textbooks,and hopes to provide valuable reference for the preparation of Chinese textbooks for the future.
