This practice report is about an interpretation task authorized by Heilongjiang Mishang Yoga Fitness Co.,Ltd.The writer was required to interpret for an Indian yoga teacher named Kamal Negi at Bishuizhuangyuan(outside the building)on September 16,2018 and at Shijijiayuan(inside the building)on September 18,2018.The writer was the simultaneous interpreter for the Indian yoga teacher Kamal Negi's yoga class,a guide to students and question-answering sessions.By listening to the recording,this report discusses and and illustrates the characteristics of Kamal Negi's pronunciation,grammar and the use of yoga terms.The writer analyses the strengths and weaknesses of this practice and proposes the essential strategies that a yoga interpreter needs: the accumulation of yoga terms,the ability of organizing sentences and choosing content,good adaptability,concentration,a good control of clothes and equipment,and a stable state of mind.
