A Study On The Corresponding Expression Of Modern Chinese Time Adverbs In Uyghur Language

As one of the most important methods of language expression,time adverbs have always been the focus of linguists' research who have studied time adverbs from different perspectives(definition,nature,scope,classification,etc.).Time adverbs exist in every language,so it is of great significance for the study of the characteristics of a language's time system and its similarities and differences between other languages.Although Chinese and Uyghur belong to different language families and have different phonetics,vocabulary and grammar rules,they have their own characteristics and similarities in the expression of time.In this paper,the time adverbs and sentences appearing in the Chinese and Uyghur versions of Mr.Ba Jin's representative novel "Home" are sorted out and analyzed by Zou Haiqing's scope and classification.By the analysis of quantitative and qualitative and methods of comparison,deduction,induction and description,combining with definition and interpretation of time adverbs in "Uyghur Detailed Interpretation Dictionary(Six Volumes)","Modern Chinese Dictionary" and "Modern Chinese 800 Words",aiming at clarifying the expression forms of Chinese time adverbs in Uyghur language.Through comparison,it is found that some Chinese time adverbs can correspond with some time adverbs in Uyghur language to play their own functions.In addition,the Chinese time adverbs can also be expressed by non-time adverbs in Uyghur language.This article is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is an introduction,which summarizes the basis of topic selection,research significance,current research situation,research methods,corpus sources and innovations;the second,third and fourth chapters are based on Zou Haiqing's classification of time adverbs,which are divided into quantitative time adverbs,boundary-variant time adverbs and procedural time adverbs.Chapter Five compares the functions and characteristics of time adverbs shared by Chinese and Uyghur;Chapter Six summarizes the expressions of Chinese time adverbs in non-time adverbs in Uyghur language;Chapter Seven summarizes the expressions of modern Chinese time adverbs in Uyghur language.
